FFO charges an application processing fee of INR equivalent to USD 225 per application to be paid by the applicant while submitting the application for permission to shoot in India.

  • The application processing fee is non-refundable, as FFO spends considerable time and effort on evaluating and processing each application, irrespective of the outcome.
  • Please ensure that your production is a Feature Film, Reality TV show or commercial TV series only.
  • Please ensure that your production is not a documentary travel show or reality show with documentary features. In case of any confusion, kindly contact FFO officials, as application fee once paid, will not be refunded. FFO, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting does not accept application for Documentary, AV commercials and Music videos.
  • We suggest that the applicant should check the completeness of application and availability of required documents before submitting the online application. Applicant should also ensure that all relevant information is correctly filled up in online application format.
